Ferguson Films is a South Africa television production company by veteran actors Connie and Shona Ferguson. Connie and Shona are married to each other. The production house has become one of the most successful in South Africa. Ferguson Films was established in 2010.
On 07 October an actress Vatiswa Ndara who worked on their show iGasa wrote an open letter to the Minister of Arts and Culture
Nathi Mthethwa accusing Ferguson Films of exploitation involving poor salaries and long working hours. Another actress Keke Mphuthi who starred in their two productions The Throne and Unmarried alleges Ferguson Films terminated her contract after finding out that she was pregnant.
The lawyers for Ferguson Films responded to the allegations by saying they are considering legal action against Vatiswa Ndara.
