Career and Education

In 2003, he debuted at the Roman Theater as Prince of Wales in William Shakespeare's Richard III . He participated in the Little Melody Festival in 2004 with My Green Island , where he came in third place. 

He studied the aesthetic program with a focus on music at Elfrida Andrée High School in Visby 2007–2010. 

He then had a contract with Länsteatern on Gotland before he was accepted in 2013 at the University of Stage and Music at the University of Gothenburg . He did his internship at Helsingborg City Theaterand graduated in 2016.

He has been active at, among others, the Gothenburg Opera and Kulturhuset Stadsteatern .

He made his TV debut in 2019 in Jonas Gardell's The days when the flowers bloom . 

That same year, he starred in Lukas Moodyson's comedy series Gösta on HBO Nordic , and made his international debut in Ari Aster's feature film Midsummer .

Blomgren plays violin, mandolin, guitar, piano. 

He is a singer and guitarist in the children's band Karl-Petter's Orchestra, which was nominated for best children's music at the Manifesto Gala 2015.

He is also known for Midsommar (2019) and Last Letter from Your Lover.
