Career
Toby Kebbell learned acting at the Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham, along with Vicky McClure and Andrew Shim. Soon, he caught the attention of director Shane Meadows, who cast him in the film ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’. The film did well commercially, and Kebbel earned a nomination for the ‘British Independent Film Award’, for Most Promising Newcomer. He later appeared in movies, such as ‘Northern Soul’ and ‘Match Point’.
In 2007, he appeared in the movie ‘Control’. It was a biographical film about singer Ian Curtis, where Kebbel played a supporting character.
