Teddy Mafia real name Yaganathan Pillay was an alleged drug dealer from Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal who was shot dead on 04 January 2021 at his home in Shallcross, Durban. His two alleged killers were caught by the  the angry community and were beheaded before being set alight in the streets.

Career

Teddy Mafia was never convicted of selling drugs but was arrested in April 2020 and got charged with the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. R700 000 cash, gold and silver coins worth an estimated R250 000 were seized during his arrest.
