He made his film debut in 1997 , starring in Dry Cleaning, where he played Loïc as the object of Charles Berling and Miou-Miou's sexual desire . Rewarded for his performance by the César for best male hope, he was then the young Albert de Morcerf, son of Jean Rochefort in the TV version of the Count of Monte Cristo . 

Alongside Chiara Mastroianni , he is François de Guise in La Lettre de Manoel de Oliveira . He is the star in La Captive ( 2000 ) by Chantal Akerman, in 2003 he played the title role in Franck Spadone and in Adolphe alongside Isabelle Adjani . 

In 2004 , he followed in the footsteps of Antoine Doinel , giving his voice to his son, Alphonse, as a partner of Claude Jade in the radio program Le Journal d'Alphonse , broadcast as part of the Radiophonic Creation Workshops of France Culture.

In 2020, he portrayed the role of Willy Kapellian on Bronx film.
