Sphelele Mzimela

Sphelele Mzimela is a South African actress best known for playing the role Mazaza on popular tv series Uzalo. She was allegedly fired from Uzalo for being pregnant.

Career and Education

Sphelele Mzimela played the role Mazaza on Uzalo. She was replaced by Mpume Ngwenya after she got pregnant. Sphelele Mzimela got her break in the entertainment industry in 2015 after getting the role Kentucky on Isibaya. Sphelele has got a Bachelor of Arts degree in television production at AFDA Academy (The South African School of Motion Picture medium and live performance) and a National Diploma in Drama from Durban University of Technology.

Sphelele was  born in Empangeni, Kwazulu-Natal  and was raised by her  grandmother in Enyoni  township.

Thembelihle Nzuza and Zenzele Mzimela are Sphele's parents. Her mother Zenzele is a successful chartered accountant.
