Education & Career

She went to study and graduated from high school. Afterward, she shifted to the south of Spain and her passion for food grew greatly making a decision to go back to the United States to join the culinary school. When she attained the age of 22, she moved to San Fransisco working with Brandon Jew at Bar Agricole making her learn the simple techniques in food making.

She went back to Spain in 2013 and was able to secure a job at Asador Etxebarri Restaurant a famous food joint in Spain. The exposure she got while working there pushed her to become the pioneer head chef at Huxley in San Francisco and managed to get hold of numerous awards and recognition together with a starred review of three years from the San Francisco Chronicle, Eater Young Guns, Zagat 30 under 30, and a James Beard semi-finalist Rising Star Chef in 2016 and 2017.

Additionally, she was titled the Rising Star Chef for the San Francisco Chronicle while serving as chef de cuisine under the supervision and guidance of Melissa Perello at one-Michelin starred restaurant Octavia and also reconnected with Brandon Jew at one-Michelin starred restaurant Mister Jiu’s.
