Jake Angeli real name Jacob Anthony Chansley is allegedly the man pictured with a painted face, fur hat and horns inside Congress on 06 January 2021 during pro-Trump riots protesting the certification of Joe Biden's presidential win.

Chansley who also calls himself QAnon Shaman was arrested and is being charged with violent entry and disorderly conduct. Chansley reportedly  called FBI himself and talked to agents voluntarily saying that he and other “patriots” went to the Capitol “at the request of the President.”

Career

Chansley reportedly had a profile on Backstage.com which identified him as an “actor/voice over artist and singer” based in Phoenix. The profile reportedly also says he volunteered at theater camp with the Free Arts of Arizona in July 2018.
