Gabriel Wortman

 Gabriel Wortman is a Canadian man who driving an ex-Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reportedly bought from an auction went on a rampage dressed in police uniform and killed more than 13 people in Novia Scotia, Canada on 18 April 2020. The mass shooting began late Saturday, 18 April 2020, in Portapique, and ended Sunday, 19 April 2020, at a gas station in Enfield, lasting more than 12 hours. Gabriel Wortman was eventually shot dead by police on 19 April 2020 at a gas station in Enfield.

Victim names

Among his victims is a police officer Heidi Stevenson a mother of two who had been working for police for 23 years. Lisa McCully, Greg Blair and Jamie Blair were also named among the victims. The total number of dead victims is believed to be at least 13.

Career and Education

Gabriel Wortman graduated from Riverview High School in Riverview, New Brunswick, in 1986. According to his classmates he wanted to be a police officer. He however ended up as a denturist and ran Atlantic Denture Clinic in Noviaa Scotia.

Gabriel Wortman had several properties in Dartmouth and Portapique, Nova Scotia. He also lived in Halifax and had family ties in Moncton, New Brunswick.
