He is the son of director and journalist  Serge Moati (born in 1946), from a Tunisian Jewish family, and of Sophie Gourdon (born in 1954), enarque , president of the third chamber of the Court of Auditors since 2015. He has a half-brother, Victor, born in 1982, and a sister, Irène, born in 1985.

Career

He made his film debut in two films with very different registers, the teenage comedy  LOL  by  Lisa Azuelos and the horror film  Livid .

From his third film, he benefits from an exposed role: in the political comedy  Télé Gaucho , under the direction of Michel Leclerc , he plays Victor, a film enthusiast who joins an associative television channel. His performance earned him a César nomination for Most Promising Actor in 2013.

The following year, he co-starred in the comedy  Libre et assoupi with Baptiste Lecaplain and Charlotte Le Bon . In this first feature film by  Benjamin Guedj , he plays a roommate full of candor. For the occasion, the young man won the Jury's Coup de cœur at the Alpe d'Huez international comedy film festival.

In 2014 , he again played a supporting role for Hippocrate , by Thomas Lilti , worn by Vincent Lacoste . He then played the third role in the comedy Gaby Baby Doll , written and directed by Sophie Letourneur.

The year 2015 was marked by the release of three films: he was part of the cast of the comedy Valentin Valentin , by Pascal Thomas , but he mainly played a leading role with À trois on y va , comedy of morals by Jérôme Bonnell . 

He also got a supporting role in the dramatic comedy The Very Private Life of Monsieur Sim , with Jean-Pierre Bacri in the title role.

Felix played the leading male role in the drama Simon et Théodore , by Mikael Buch. In 2018, he got a leading role in the drama Gaspar at the Wedding , by Antony Cordier.

In February 2019, he made his first film Deux fils in which he also played. For this transition to the production of feature films, Moati also directs his partners and friends: Vincent Lacoste and Anaïs Demoustier.

In 2020, he appeared among the cast of No Man's Land TV series as Antoine Habert.
