Emma Corrin is a British actress, known for The Crown (2016), Misbehaviour and Grantchester (2014).

Her father, Chris Corrin, is a businessman and her mother, Juliette Corrin, is a speech therapist from South Africa. Corrin has two younger brothers, Richard and Jonty.
She attended St John’s College and was actively involved in dramatic productions such as Romeo and Juliet, Lily, and Unravelling the Ribbon. Prior to this, Emma attended the Woldingham boarding school for girls in Surrey. She then trained at the prestigious University of Cambridge.

Some of Emma’s previous professional roles include credits on Grantchester and Misbehaviour, a historical drama following a group of women from the Women’s Liberation Movement as they attempt to disrupt the 1970 Miss World beauty competition in London. She stars alongside Keeley Hawes and Keira Knightley.
She portrayed Esme Winikus during the first season on Pennyworth, a spin-off series about Batman’s butler Alfred.
On April 9th, 2019 it was announced that Emma Corrin, a newcomer actress has been cast as Princess Diana in the fourth season of The Crown. She will be joining 2019 best actress Oscar winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite), who takes over from Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth. The Crown is Based on an award-winning play (“The Audience”) by showrunner Peter Morgan depicting the drama chronicles of Queen Elizabeth II (Claire Foy) from the 1940s to modern times. The Series is a Netflix-original which premiered on November 4th, 2016.
Emma is also known for her work on Cesare (2017).
