Dr. Shingi Munyeza is Zimbabwe businessman and a pastor at Faith Ministries Church. He was previously the head of the Zimbabwean hotel chain, African Sun before stepping down in 2015 to pursue personal interests. He stepped down from his position as pastor at Faith Ministries Church after his daughter Nomsa Munyeza exposed him for cheating on his wife Wilma Munyeza.
Career and Education
Shingi Munyeza attended St. John High School and later Prince Edward School. He studied B.Compt in accounting with University of South Africa and did his articles of clerkship under Ernst and Young. He worked as an Executive Director in an advertising agency, CM & A Advertising before he moved Cresta Hospitality Zimbabwe, where he became Group Commercial Director. He later switched Zimbabwe Sun Limited (now African Sun) where he became the Group Chief Executive.
Shingi Munyeza was born on 17 September 1966 in Harare. He is 54 years old as of 2021.
Wife and Children
Shingi Munyeza has been married to his wife Wilma for 26 years. He has a daughter named Nomsa.
On 20 January 2021 Shingi Munyeza stepped down from his position as pastor at Faith Ministries Church after his daughter Nomsa exposed him for cheating on her mother. Nomsa was replying to a post in which he was wishing his wife happy anniversary.
In a now deleted Facebook post Shingi had wrote:
“Happy anniversary to my best friend, confidante, my love and mother of our only daughter. I want to grow old with you, till death separates us. It’s been a great 26 years of growth, learning and joy. God has been great to us, for that I’m truly grateful. I love you always and forever.”
"Happy anniversary to a wife you cheat on and a daughter you have left fatherless. You’re fake evil (sic).”
"You rather remove this post because you do not cheat on a wife you love. That is called being evil. "
"Please delete this. I want nothing to do with you."
