Chen Guangcheng is a Chinese human rights activist best known for fighting against forced abortions under China's one child policy. In April 2012 he fled to the US Embassy in Beijing ahead of a visit by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Obama administration negotiated for Chen to leave China. He was eventually allowed after a month to fly to the US, where he is exile.
Chen Guangcheng was born on 12 November 1971 in Yinan County, Linyi, China.
