Career

Brittany Baron loved to act as a child. She was drawn to male roles. However, her mother did not let her pursue it professionally as she wanted Brittany to lead a normal life.

Despite that, her passion couldn’t be contained, and she ended up playing various roles in school plays and community theaters.

She appeared in many plays of the company, most notably, ‘East of Eden’ and ‘Grand Concourse’. Brittany wanted more roles and bigger presence, hence, she decided to move to Los Angeles to try her luck in screen writing.

Her arrival in Los Angeles also helped her get her debut role on the silver screen. She was seen in various TV series, such as ‘Jennifer Falls’, ‘Halo: The Fall of Reach’, ‘Chicago PD’ and ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.’

She also had a minor role in the movie, ‘Meshes of Dusk’ (2015), and dabbled in voice acting for video games, such as ‘Halo 5: Guardians’, ‘Skylanders: Imaginators’ and ‘Dishonored 2’. However, she was noticed only after she appeared in the award-winning medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as Mary Parkman in the episode, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’.

Around the same time, she decided to audition for a comedy-drama series about amateur wrestlers named, ‘Glow’. Her love for the script and the role ensured that she gave her best audition. She wanted to do something different and choreographed an original fighting sequence with over the top expressions.

Her dedication paid off and she landed the role of Justinie Biagi/Scab in the series. The series went on to become her breakthrough and she became famous overnight.

‘GLOW’ was released on Netflix in June 2017 and contained 10 episodes. She starred alongside other famous actors like Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Sydelle Noel. The unique story of the series attracted many viewers and they loved the show for its strong plotline. The overwhelmingly positive response ensured that the series was scheduled for another season. The second season was released in June 2018 and was equally successful. Critics noted Baron’s exemplary performance and praised her maturity as an actress.

Since working in ‘GLOW’, Brittany has appeared in many more dramas, including ‘Lucifer’. In 2018, she starred in the movie ‘Bushwick Beats’ as Sadie.

She plays a recurring character in the comedy web series ‘Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy’ in which she plays the role of Brit Brit Hamsteak.

In 2021, she was cast as Dani in Aftermath film.
