Career
After graduating, he began his professional career on stage in New York. He later moved to Los Angeles to work in films and TV shows.Geraghty landed his first screen role in 1999, portraying Philip Ludwick in a season nine episode of NBC’s ‘Law & Order’.
In 2010, he appeared in another show of the
franchise, ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, playing a womanising Wall
Street banker in a season eleven episode. Geraghty returned to the set of ‘Law
& Order: SVU’ to reprise his Chicago TV franchise character Officer Sean
Roman in a crossover episode between the two NBC police/legal dramas.
In 1999, Geraghty also guest-starred in ‘The
Sopranos’, playing a counter boy in the eighth episode of the first season. He
then made a cameo appearance in the comedy-drama series ‘Ed’.
