Bjorn Kjellman


John Björn Sture Kjellman is a Swedish actor and singer.

In 1983–1987, he studied at the Theater Academy in Malmö , where he attended the same class as, among others, Rikard Wolff and Gerhard Hoberstorfer

Career

He made his stage debut in 1986 at Stockholm City Theater in the play Affären Danton . He has played several leading roles in popular Swedish films, such as Adam & Eva , Vägen ut and Klassfesten .

He is also very knowledgeable about the Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest . In the Melodifestivalen 2006 he participated himself and performed the ballad " Älskar du livet " which ended in a 9th place (second to last) in the final.

In 1996, he won the award for best male musical artist for his performance in the play Little Shop of Horrors . In 2004–2006, he played Charlotte von Mahlsdorf in the play I am my own wife at Stockholm City Theater . 


In 2007–2008, he also starred in a production of Don Juan in Soho , also at Stockholm City Theater. In 2000, he won the Golden Bug for best male lead in The Road Out.

In 2020, he appeared among the cast of Love and Anarchy TV series as Ronny Johansson.
