Alexandre Willaume has appeared in dozens of films and television series throughout his acting career. He is well known for playing  the role of Thomdril Merrilin on the Amazon Prime web series The Wheel of Time alongside Álvaro Morte, Rosamund Pike and Barney Harris.

He has also notably played the role of Kjartan in the Netflix and BBC Two television series, The Last Kingdom. He appeared on the historical drama series alongside Alexander Dreymon, Millie Brady, Eliza Butterworth and Emily Cox.
